National Plumbing Best Practice
National Best Practice for Plumbing Industry Training
Through the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR), CPSISC has been funded to undertake a project which aims to ‘
develop a national overview of current best practice methods that overcome the identified barriers to implementation, and highlight flexible delivery of the plumbing training qualifications
’. CPSISC has contracted the Gordon Institute of TAFE to manage the project through the consulting firm Altegis Group.
This project follows on from the recommendations made in previous research within the plumbing industry VET sector, which explored the current status of implementation of New Apprenticeships and barriers to effective implementation of the BCP03 national Training Package.
The Project Steering Committee (PSC) is made up of key industry people.
