Continuous Improvement of CPC08 Plumbing and Services units of competency

Further to previous ‘continuous improvement’ proposed changes to CPC08 Plumbing and Services units of competency, the National Plumbing and Services Training Advisory Group (NPSTAG) has provided CPSISC with the attached proposed changes to:

CPC08 Plumbing and Services Diploma - core and elective units (not including the three Fire Service units – which are still undergoing consultation with the Hydraulic Services Industry and the Fire Services Industry).
CPCPCM2023A – Carry out OHS requirements – (embedding of ‘asbestos awareness’)
CPCPWT4011A – Design and size heated water and cold water services and systems - (minor text change to Evidence Guide – to meet Regulatory requirements)

These proposed enhancements to the CPC08 Plumbing units were tabled at the recent CPSISC National Plumbing and Services Continuous Improvement Reference Group (NPSCIRG) meeting held in Melbourne on Tuesday 10^th May.

The closing date for feedback on these latest proposed enhancements to the Plumbing and Services units of competency is Thursday 9^th June 2011.
