MyLanguage Conference 2010

MyLanguage, Your Language in the Digital Age

The first national MyLanguage Conference will be held from Monday 9 August to Wednesday 11 August at the State Library of NSW in Sydney.

The conference is presented by the State and Territory Libraries of the ACT, Northern Territory, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia. These libraries form the MyLanguage project consortium which began in 2004 with the development of the MyLanguage website, which hosts a wide range of publically available information resources in over 60 languages.

The theme of the conference is using digital technology to empower culturally and linguistically diverse communities to achieve greater social inclusion and maintain cultural and linguistic identity.
