Plumbing & Services Resources

These documents support units of competency within Certificates II, III and IV in Plumbing and Services qualifications.

The resources for Cert II and III will help the student gain the skills and knowledge necessary to demonstrate competence.

There are four main sections: 

·         A learning unit, which contains background information on the relevant unit 

·         Worksheets, which prepares the student for the practical application 

·         Practical application, which provides the student with the opportunity to demonstrate
their skill and knowledge of the relevant unit/; and 

·         Assessment materials, which help the student demonstrate competency 

The resources for Cert IV address the underpinning knowledge and skill development required to help the student carry out work based risk processes.

It contains: 

·         Information on the relevant unit 

·         Activities designed to encourage the student to check and confirm learning along the way and to assist to be ready for the final assessment 

·         A summary of the final task or tasks the student must complete to be assessed as competent in the unit.
