Formal Training for an Integrated Electronic Security Consultant

The Certificate IV in Computer Systems provides training in competencies related to selecting, installing, commissioning, fault finding and maintaining data processing, communications and control aspects of systems relevant to electronic security. These would be used for monitoring and control of systems for access, surveillance, safety and effective operation of manufacturing, buildings, structures, premises and precincts.

To be awarded the Certificate IV in Computer Systems, you need to successfully complete a total of 15 units of competency (sometimes referred to as subjects). Twelve of the units are compulsory and the remaining three are elective units which must be selected according to the qualification packaging rules.

A Registered Training Organisation (TAFE or private provider) could offer a course similar to the one listed below, which covers the skills and knowledge typically required by an integrated electronic security consultant.
