  • You should be able to listen carefully to what a client wants and interpret this in terms that are technically right, practical and affordable. It means knowing the technical capabilities of different systems and being able to explain their workings in ways that are appealing and understandable to clients.
  • You will be working closely with a team of people from your organisation, and you can draw on their expertise, and share yours with other team members. Clients always have issues and problems and it is your job to solve these in the best possible way. When things go wrong it is your job to fix them quickly and efficiently.
  • You need to be able to evaluate how well a system is performing and devise ways of making it work more effectively. In order to keep clients happy, you need to be not only honest and reliable, but smart in the way you approach things.
